Terms of Service

By creating an account or using CAassist ("the Service"), operated by CAassist ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a firm, you represent that you have authority to bind that firm to these terms.

CAassist provides practice management software for Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, and GST practitioners, including client relationship management, document storage, WhatsApp-based communication tools, compliance tracking, reconciliation tools, billing, and a client-facing portal.

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Material changes to paid plan features will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

The Service is intended for use by CA firms and their authorized staff and clients, not for personal, non-business use.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. A 14-day free trial is provided; no payment is collected until the trial ends or you actively subscribe.

All fees are exclusive of applicable GST, which will be added to invoices as required by Indian tax law. Invoices are generated automatically for every successful payment.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service, subject to our Refund Policy.

You retain all rights to the client data, documents, and records you upload to the Service ("Customer Data"). We act as a data processor for Customer Data and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service, except as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents from your clients to process their data through CAassist, including WhatsApp-based communication.

You agree not to use the Service to transmit unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent content, to send unsolicited bulk messages in violation of WhatsApp Business Platform policies, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users.

Upon termination, you may export your Customer Data for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAassist is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including missed statutory deadlines, which remain the professional responsibility of the firm using the Service.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
